Tonsorial Art

The word Tonsorial is derived from the latin word Tonsor which has the true meaning of clipper and also derived from the latin word Tondere which means to shear . Over the years the term has culminated into a general word that means person who offers traditional barbering services including the tradition use of shears , clippers and the straight razor in a professional way in a professional setting. It has now been made synonymous to Barber when a barber refers to themselves as a Tonsorial Artist.
